Fudge

  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can Carnation milk (unsweetened)
  • 18 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Optional: 2 cups walnuts, chopped

In saucepan, mix sugar and milk. Boil for 9 minutes, stirring constantly.

In bowl, cut butter into pieces over chocolate chips. Pour hot mixture over chocolate chips and butter. Stir until smooth. Add vanilla and walnuts. Pour into buttered pan.
