Oyster Stew

  • 4+ cans of oysters
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 squirt Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup cream
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Drain liquid from cans of oysters into saucepan. Heat until steaming. Pour in oysters. (Do not overcook.) Simmer for about 10 minutes.

Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Pour into oysters. Add Worcestershire sauce, cream, and garlic salt. Heat, and let set on low to spread flavors. Add salt and pepper as preferred.
